Beach House Renovation – Alcorn Street, Suffolk Park

Privacy, subtlety of space and quality of light were major parameters of this design. Wherever possible natural, softer materials are juxtaposed with harder materials such as stainless street and glass. The house is part of a pathway from beach to sky, a series of articulated platforms lead from the Tallow Beach sand dune, through the garden and up an open stair to the star gazing platform on the roof.
